Advice on the Net

There are two primary ways we can work together through the internet. I am currently in the process of developing a method to engage in chat room style, real-time counseling over the internet. This service is not currently available. If the internet is your preference for receiving advice and counsel, please see below for the details of the email response process.

Email Response:

If the matter is not pressing and you feel like you just want a few questions answered, email may be the best way for us to go. You'll have a complete response within 24 hours of sending your request.

Therapy through the internet may be appropriate for:

 - People living in remote areas, or those who find it difficult to travel
 - People who have auditory problems
 - People whose professions demand that they be away from home for extended periods
 - People who have irregular schedules
 - People who cannot conveniently leave the home
 - People who are agoraphobic
 - People who perceive a stigma in traditional counseling
 - People for whom in-person meetings are stressful

Online counseling is not appropriate for those under the age of 18, for people experiencing suicidal thoughts or for those with severe mental illnesses. If you are experiencing suicidal thoughts contact your local crisis line, the closest emergency room, or a licensed counselor in your local area.

Cost: $25 per email response payable through PayPal. If preferred, Credit Card payments may be made by telephone or through the online form. Payment must be received and processed prior to the receipt of a response.
