Telephone Counseling
Sometimes, making it to the therapist's office is just impossible. It may be that you can't get away from your work or your kids. It may be that you're not too comfortable talking face-to-face about intimate details of your life. Or sometimes, you just need a little direction, not enough to warrant the time and energy it takes to fully commit to ongoing counseling. Or maybe you just want some advice about what to do in a certain situation. Telephone counseling may be right for you. Telephone counseling is done by appointment only. I can call you or you can call me, whichever fits best for you. If you prefer that I not return your phone call and you've reached my voice mail system, please leave your name and some preferred times for an appointment. I cannot assure availability without mutual confirmation, so it may be helpful to provide alternate ways to communicate (such as email) in order to confirm an appointment time. Sessions are billed in 15-minute increments and payable by credit card only. When is telephone counseling not appropriate?
